Microtome CUT4060 E

The microtome (semi motorized) is fitted with an electronic servo drive (power steering). This facilitates considerably the operator’s work during long cutting sequences. The cutting process may be started either from the operator’s terminal or with a foot switch (optional). There are 3 variants of cutting controlled from the manually-operated panel:
→Contact (tip) mode→Single-stroke mode (alternative to foot switch)→Continuous mode
Additional high-speed pushbutton facilitates fast cutting. Activation of the stop pushbutton holds the object in the current position. The cutting speed is adjustable and ranges from 1 to 150 strokes per minute. Course mode is on the left, next to the safety clutch. Fine setting with collision guard. Optimal object guiding by means of backlash-free and maintenance-free cross-roller guides with restraint-guided roller cage. Precise clamping for knife carrier with optimal shifting options. Automatic object retraction.
